Day 01: 18 Feb ARRIVE NEW Delhi
0915hrs. Arrival by Emirates flight EK. Company representatives will receive
you on arrival at the international airport in Delhi. Transfer to your hotel.
DELHI, the capital of kingdoms and empires is now a sprawling metropolis with
a fascinating blend of the past and the present. It is a perfect introduction
to the composite culture of an ancient land. A window to the kaleidoscope
- that is India.
1430hrs. Half day sightseeing tour of Delhi including Chhatarpur Mandir and
a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India
Gate, Parliament House, the Presidents Residence, Lotus Temple and would
end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.
1900hrs. Dinner at Garam Masala with folk dances and music.
Day 02: 19 Feb Delhi
0700hrs. Wake up call.
0730hrs. Breakfast at hotel.
0830hrs. A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat
- the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest
mosque in India and the Red Fort - once the most opulent fort and palace of
the Moghul Empire.
Enjoy the cycle rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to Chandni Chowk.
1230hrs. Lunch
1430hrs. An extensive sightseeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit
to the Humayuns Tomb, the Qutub Minar,
1900hrs. Dinner at Sahara Restaurant with light music.
Day 03: 20 Feb delhi - agra
0630hrs. Wake up call.
0700hrs. Breakfast at hotel.
0730hrs. After breakfast proceed towards Agra.
1245hrs. Upon arrival check in at the hotel.
1330hrs. Lunch
1445hrs. Proceed for visit to the Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. Two great Mughal
monarchs, Akbar and Shah Jahan, transformed the little village of Agra into
a befitting second capital of the Mughal Empire - giving it the name Dar-ul-Khilafat
(seat of the Emperor). Today a visitor to Agra is caught up in a world of contrasting
edifices, of red sandstone and white marble, narrow galleys and quaint buggies,
and that irresistible charm that this favorite city of the Mughals still retains.
It is not surprising, that modern Agra still reflects its Mughal heritage most
conspicuously. A walk down the narrow bustling streets of the city will introduce
the visitor to the wafting aroma of Mughlai cuisine.
Little needs to be said about the architectural wonder of Taj Mahal which
is always the soul raison-de-etre for every tourist's visit to Agra. Built
by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife Mumtaz
Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed, and planned
by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and
perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes,
intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen. A must
see with the rising or the setting sun.
1730hrs. Time for shopping for marble inlay objects.
1930hrs. Dinner at a local restaurant with magic show.
2100hrs. Time for shopping for Kashmir handicraft items like shawls, stoles,
paper mache, Kashmir silk carpets etc
Day 04: 21 Feb Agra - Jaipur
0800hrs. Wake up call.
0830hrs. Breakfast at hotel.
0900hrs. After breakfast proceed towards Jaipur visiting Fatehpur Sikri on
the way.
1030hrs. Reach Fatehpur sikri and visit the site. The deserted, red Sandstone
City, Emperor Akbar built that as his capital and palace in the late 16th
century is an exhilarating experience. It a veritable fairytale city and its
"ruins" are in pristine condition... it's not hard to imagine what
the court life must have been like in the days of its grandeur. Also visit
the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world.
1300hrs. Lunch
1400hrs. Continue towards the Pink city.
1630hrs. Time to stroll in the busy market place of Jaipur followed by Check
in at the hotel.
1930hrs. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 05: 22 Feb Jaipur
0630hrs. Wake up call.
0700hrs. Breakfast at hotel.
0730hrs. Proceed for a morning excursion to Amber Fort after breakfast. Elephant
ride ascent to the fort.
Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was
started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh
I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion
of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression.

1130hrs. Time to shop for exquisite gold / silver jewellery in coloured stones
and antique wares. Jaipur is known the world over for gems stone cutting,
facetting and polishing.
1345hrs. Lunch
1500hrs. With its delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture,
the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It
houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.
1600hrs. The Jantar Mantar is the largest and the best preserved of the five
observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This
observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.
1630hrs. Shop for textiles and woolen rugs.
1900hrs. Dinner at Chokhi Dhani a theme park with lots of entertainment.
Day 06: 23 Feb Jaipur - Mumbai - Bangalore - Mysore
0700hrs. Wake up call.
0730hrs. Breakfast at hotel.
0800hrs. In the morning transfer to the airport via a brief stop at the Hawa
Mahal.
The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark
in Jaipur. It is a five-storey structure of sandstone plastered pink encrusted
with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and
windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for
the palace women.
0845hrs. Reach the airport and individual check-in.
1455hrs. Upon arrival in Bangalore drive to your hotel in Mysore.
Day 07: 26 Feb Mysore - Bangalore
0730hrs. Wake up call.
0800hrs. Breakfast at hotel.
0830hrs. In the morning visit Srirangapatnam, the Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan
built in 1784 AD. Visit Mysore Palace.
1230hrs. Lunch. Later on transfer back to Bangalore.
Day 08: 27 Feb Bangalore - Goa
0700hrs. Wake up call.
0745hrs. Breakfast at hotel.
0815hrs. Proceed for an orientation tour of Bangalore city covering the most
famous sights of Bangalore. Here we visit the Vidhan Saudha, Government Secretariat,
The Lal Bagh, botanical Garden opposite the Vidhan Saudha.
1145hrs. Proceed for the airport to catch your flight to Goa and check in.
1300hrs. Flight to Goa. Lunch on board.
1430hrs. Reach Goa and check into your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
1900hrs. Dinner at hotel.
Day 09: Goa
0800hrs. Wake up call.
0830hrs. Breakfast at hotel.
0900hrs. Leave for a combined sight seeing and city tour of this erstwhile
Portuguese colony.
1330hrs. Relax at your hotel or at the beach in the afternoon.
Day 10 goa
Relax full day at the beach or take an ayurvedic massage / spa treatment at
your hotel.
Day 11: Goa - Mumbai - Next Destinations
0800hrs. Wake up call.
0830hrs. Breakfast at hotel.
0900hrs. Relax at your hotel or at the beach.
1145hrs. Transfer to the railway station for your train to Mumbai.
1315hrs. Train departs Margao railway station.
2210hrs. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. MUMBAI, the capital of Maharashtra
and one of the most busiest and sprawling metropolis of India with a fascinating
blend of the past and the present. Dinner at a local restaurant in Dadar.
