Day 01 Arrive Mumbai
Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 Mumbai - Keshod - Sasan Gir
In time transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Keshod. Upon arrival
drive to Sasan Gir and check in to your jungle lodge.
Afternoon is free to relax.
Day 03 Sasan Gir
Full day game viewing.
Gir Sanctuary is the last and only home of the critically endangered Asiatic
Lion. These lions are a smaller more compact version of their African version,
and are best viewed at dawn or dusk when they are on the move. The major difference
between the two is that the African Lion appears larger than the Indian Lion
because of its large and luxuriant mane.
Leopard is considered to be one of the most beautiful and graceful animals
in the jungle, also the most dangerous one. Popularly known as the Prince
of Cats, this animal is the most adaptable from the family of predators, one
the reason why it occupies a much larger spread of Gujarat forest cover, and
in Gir National Park it has been found in all the varied habitats and vegetation
types. The approximate population of 210 Leopards resides within the sanctuary
area.
Day 04 Sasan Gir
Full day game viewing.
Among the lesser-known wildlife of Gir National Park include the most common
animal that can be sighted in the sanctuary is the Chital or Spotted Deer.
Others main wild attractions are Nilgai, Chinkara, Sambhar, Black Bucks, the
four horned Antelope, Wild Boar, Indian Flying Foe, Grey Musk Shrew, Indian
Hare, Pale Hedgehog, Small Indian Mangoose, Small Indian Civet, Indian Pangolin,
Indian Porcupine, Ratel, Indian Fox, and Jackal. The three smaller wildcats
- the Jungle Cat, Desert Cat and the Rusty Spotted Cat, also inhabit Gir forest,
which shows that the forest is not just meant for the protection of Lions,
but the whole of the cat family. Not leaving the water predators behind, Mash
crocodiles are often seen along the Kamleshwar Dam Site. Another major attraction
among the reptile population of Gir National Park are the numerous non-venomous
Snakes such as the Indian Rock Python along with the four venomous varieties,
which are Indian Cobra, Common Krait, Saw Scaled Viper, Russell's Viper.
Day 05 Sasan Gir - Jamnagar - Delhi
In the morning drive to Jamnagar to catch your flight to Delhi. Afternoon
relax.
Day 06 Delhi
Full day tour of Old and New Delhi visiting Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid, Raj
Ghat, Humayuns Tomb, Qutab Minar,

India Gate. Drive past through the Houses
of Parliament and Janpath. Overnight at Delhi.
Day 07 Delhi - Sawai Madhopur - Ranthambore
Transfer to Sawai Madhopur by train, arrive check in and relax. Overnight
at Sawai Madhopur.
Day 08 Sawai Madhopur
Full day game viewing. Overnight at Sawai Madhopur.
Day 09 Sawai Madhopur - Bharatpur
Morning drive to Bharatpur. arrive check in and proceed for a visit of the
bird sanctuary. There is a unique eco friendly way to visit this sanctuary
- Cycle Rickshaw. Overnight at Bharatpur.
Day 10 Bharatpur - Agra
This morning proceed first to Fatehpur Sikri. The capital of Emperor Akbar
for 14 years. Later drive to Agra. Arrive Agra, check in and relax. Afernonn
visit the Red Fort and the famous Taj Mahal. ** THE TAJ MAHAL REMAINS CLOSED
ON A MONDAY. Overnight at Agra.
Day 11 Agra - Khajuraho
In the morning transfer to the railway station for your train Shatabdi Express
to Jhansi. Upon arrival in Jhansi transfer by road to Khajuraho. Overnight
at Khajuraho.
Day 12 Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh
In the morning a combined tour of Eastern and western group of temples. After
lunch drive from Khajuraho to Bandhavgarh wildlife reserve. Arrive by late
afternoon. Overnight at Bandhavgarh forest lodge.
Day 13 Bandhavgarh
Full day game viewing.
Day 14 Bandhavgarh - Kanha
This morning drive to another interesting wildlife reserve -

Kanha. Arrive
check in and relax.
Day 15 Kanha
Drive into the forest this morning by jeep. Afternoon return to the hotel
and relax. Or go for another jungle safari in afternoon. .
Day 16 Kanha - Nagpur - Mumbai
This morning drive from Kanha to Nagpur, arrive Nagpur airport and fly to
Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai and transfer to the international airport for your flight
back home.
