Delhi
Delhi - The political and administrative powerhouse of the world largest democracy is a mixture of ancient and modern character.
Old Delhi or Shah Jahanabad (the ‘7th City’) , was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the first half of the 17th century. Focusing on his great Red Fort and Jama Masjid, this old city is still a dense network of narrow alleys and tightly packed markets and houses.
The new cities Immediately to the south is the British built capital of New Delhi, a self - conscious attempt to match the imperial grandeur of the Mughal capital, while post independence Delhi has dramatically accelerated its suburban expansion.

Places of Interest: India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, Birla Mandir, Raj Ghat, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Jama Masjid.

Day 02 Delhi - Amritsar.
Amritsar
Amritsar is named after the sacred pool in the Golden Temple, the holiest of Sikh sites. The original site for the city was granted by the Mughal Emperor Akbar who also visited the temple and it has been sacred to the Sikhs since the time of the fourth guru, Ram Das.
Now Punjab’s second largest town, Amritsar was a traditional junction of trade routes. The different people, Yarkandis, Turkomans, Kashmiris, Tibetans and Iranians, indicate its connection with the Old Silk Road.

Places of Interest :
The Golden Temple - The spiritual nerve centre of the Sikh faith, every Sikh tries to make a visit and bathe in the holy water. It is immensely powerful, both spiritual and welcoming.

Also visit the local market. Locally manufactured woolen blankets and sweaters are good value. Old city is a good shopping area.

Overnight will be in Amritsar.

Tsechokling Monastery, Dharamshala Tour PackageDay 03 Amritsar - Pragpur - Dharamshala.
Pragpur
It is a medieval heritage village with cobbled streets and slate - roofed houses which has a 300 years old country home by an ornamental pond. Located at an elevance of about 1800 fts in Kangra valleys, it nestles below the majestic Dhauladharas-the white ranges. 
Dharamshala
The hill station was established by the British between 1815 and 1847, but remained a minor town until the Dalai Lama settled here after Chinese invasion of Tibet in October 1959. There is an obvious Tibetian influence in McLeodganj. It is this ‘Upper’ and more attractive part of the town that attract the bulk of visitors.

Places of interest :
Visit art museum , church of st.John,and walk through the forests to the residence of  His holiness Dalailama.

Overnight will be in Dharamshala.

Day 04 Dharamshala.
Full day sightseeing includes to upper and low Dharamshala, monasteries, and library for tibetian studies.

Overnight will be in Dharamshala.

Day 05 Dharamshala - Kullu - Manali
Kullu
The kullu Valley: The Valley of the Gods.
Kullu Valley,205 Km from shimla, is famous for its beautiful scenery, apple orchards, and lively tribal music and dances.

Places of interest : Visit the jagannathi Devi temples , enjoy the beauty of the valleys rich with apple orchards.

Manali
Manali Occupies the valley with the once unspoilt Old Village to the north and Vashisht , up on the the opposite hillside across the river.

Places of interest : Hidimba Temple, The Manu Temple etc.
Also visit Rohtang Pass. It is an imposing pass at height of 13800 feet and most of the time covered in snow.

Day 06 Manali
Full Day at leisure with car at disposal.

Day 07 Manali - Shimla.
Shimla
The former summer capital of the British Indian empire is a beautiful place to visit.
It sprawls along a 12 Km long ridge and 2200 m high in the north west Himalayan foothills.
Places of interest : Jhaku Temple, The State Museum, Rastrapati nivas.

Overnight will be in Shimla.

Day 08 Shimla.
Full day at leisure to admire the natural beauty of Shimla.
Car at disposal.
Overnight will be in Shimla.

Day 09 Shimla - Chandigarh - Agra (by train)
Today you will leave for Agra via chandigarh. Reach Agra and check into your hotel.
Overnight will be in Agra.

Day 10 Agra
Agra
Agra stands on the right bank of river Yamuna. Two great Mughal monarchs, Akbar and Shah Jahan, transformed the little village of Agra into a befitting second capital of the Mughal Empire - giving it the name Dar-ul-Khilafat (seat of the emperor). Agra is the Medieval Mughal city of the famous Taj Mahal, the creation of a dynasty that dedicated its spoils to building architectural master pieces.

Places of interest:
Taj Mahal, Agra Travel & TourismVisit Sikandara the tomb of the great emperor Akbar.
Later visit the tomb of Itmad ud Daulah the finance minister of the Mughals and the father of Noor Jehan: Jehangir’s wife. It is the first mughal building built out completely of marble. In many contexts it is referred to being the predecessor of the Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal visit the wonder monument. The Taj Mahal is the most photgraphed monument in the world. The Taj Mahal was built in the 17th century by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Overnight will be in Agra.

Day 11 Agra - Jaipur.
Jaipur
Jaipur (city of Victory) was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Jai Singh II. Jai Singh loved mathematics and science. A brilliant Brahmin scholar, Vidhyadhar Bhattacharya from Bengal helped him to design the city.

Places of interest:
City Palace is another beautiful landmark that was built by Kachchwah Rajput rulers of Jaipur. The City Palace is a classic example of Mughal and Rajput architecture. A part of the palace today is museum that houses a collection of rare manuscripts, weapons, Mughal carpets and costumes, and Mughal and Rajasthani miniatures.

Jantar Mantar makes another wonderful sight to visit. Built in 1718 by Sawai Jai Singh, Jantar Mantar Observatory is one of the five observatories that were built by the king. The observatory was built to study the movement of stars. The observatory is built in stone and marble.

Day 12 Jaipur.
Sightseeing tour of Jaipur will cover
Amber Fort is another famous tourist attraction in Jaipur. The Amber Fort was built by Raja Man Singh in the 16th century and was completed by Sawai Jai Singh in the 18th century. The fort offers magnificent views of the surrounding area. The fort is a mix of Mughal and Rajput architecture and is built in red stone and white marble.
Hawa Mahal, Jaipur Vacation PackageHawa Mahal is one of the most common and popular tourist attractions in Jaipur. Hawa Mahal was basically used as a veil by the royal women folk to watch the proceedings on the road below. Today it is the one of most visited monuments in Jaipur.
Post afternoon time is free to visit the local market.
Overnight will be in Jaipur.

Day 13 Jaipur - Delhi - Next destination.
Leave Jaipur and reach Delhi. After reaching Delhi you will be transferred to a local restaurant where you meet your Tour Manager for a tour debrief and FAREWELL DINNER.
After dinner proceed towards airport for flight with sweet memories of India.
