Day 01 11th Mar Arrive Delhi
Meet and assist by our representative upon your arrival at the airport. Then
drive to your hotel with your driver and car.

Day 02 12th Mar Delhi - Jaipur
0730hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0800hrs Departure for sightseeing in Delhi.
Visit the Qutub Minar - the tallest freestanding minaret in stone in
the world; then onto Humayuns tomb - the first Mughal construction
in India from 1565 AD. Also see the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the India Gate built
in the earlier half of the 20th century. Drive through the old city past the
Red Fort and visit the Jama Masjid - the biggest of its kind in India.
Then reach Rajghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, where your chauffeur is
waiting for you to take you to Jaipur by road. Upon arrival check into your
hotel.

Day 03 13th Mar Jaipur
0700hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0730hrs Departure for sightseeing in Jaipur.
Visit the Amber fort in the morning; included is an elephant ride at the Amber
fort. See the marvelous Shish mahal built in the 17th century in a fusion style
of Hindu and Islamic art. Also see the hall of public audiences and Maharaja
Man Singhs Palace who had twelve queens.
1130hrs Shopping for textiles and carpets.
1430hrs Visit the City Palace of the Maharaja of Jaipur with a fabulous collection
of robes and saris in cotton and silk with gold-latticed work. The City Palace
houses a collection of paintings also in the painting gallery and of course
a collection of arms and ammunitions in the ammunition gallery.
1600hrs Shopping for Gem stone and Jewellery.

Day 04 14th Mar Jaipur - Bikaner
0800hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0900hrs Departure to Ram Niwas Bagh to witness Elephant procession.
1030hrs Reach Chogan stadium inside the old city to witness the Elephant Festival
declared open by Sawai Maharaja Bhawani Singh (His Royal Highness of Jaipur).
1630hrs Drive to Bikaner.
2100hrs Check into your hotel in Bikaner.

Day 05 15th Mar Bikaner - Pokaran - Jaisalmer
0700hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0730hrs Departure for sightseeing in Bikaner.
Drive to Deshnoke to see the Rat temple (Karni Mata Temple)
1000hrs Visit Junagarh Fort with its rich collection of arms and ammunitions
and imperial robes.
1330hrs We set towards our journey across the Thar Desert to reach Pokaran.
Visit the 15th century fortress where the 3rd Mughal emperor, Akbar the Great,
was born in 1543. The bazaar in the middle of this village is very colourful
and full of local flavours. Spend some time with the locals and thereafter
continue towards Jaisalmer and reach after sunset.

Day 06 16th Mar Jaisalmer
0830hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0900hrs Departure for sightseeing in Jaisalmer.
Visit the Jain temples inside the Sonar Kila. The Jains are a community that
respects life and are pure vegetarians by religion. The fortress is a living
citadel where 40000 people live. It is a feast to the eyes to see the lifestyle
of the people within the fort walls. Visit the citadels palace that houses
a museum with a huge collection of robes and artifacts from the royal family
of Jaisalmer. Visit the Patwaon ki haveli with intricately designed latticed
windows used by the ladies to view the external world. Also see the Gadisar
Lake.

Afternoon is at leisure.

Day 07 17th Mar Jaisalmer
0830hrs Breakfast at hotel.
Full Day Free.
1630hrs Drive to Khuri village. Here we have loads of excitement in store for
you. Upon arrival in the village you will be taken to the nearby sunset point
on the dunes to see the sunset by camels. After the sunsets return to the village
where your dinner is arranged in mud huts. In the evening listen to the haunted
tunes of the desert by the local artists and musicians. This is the time to
mingle with the local villagers from the desert and know more about their lifestyle.

Day 08 18th Mar Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
0830hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0900hrs Drive towards Jodhpur via Manwar and enjoy with the locals.
1530hrs Leave for Jodhpur and reach by evening and check in to your hotel.
1800hrs Visit Mandore gardens the then capital of Marwar to view some of the
fabulous cenotaphs and the hall of local heroes of the wars. Drive back to
Jodhpur. Retire to your hotel and relax.

Day 09 19th Mar Jodhpur
0900hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0930hrs Drive up to the majestic Mehrangarh fort: the stronghold of the Rathore
princes from 1453AD. We see the superb collection of paintings and arms and
ammunitions. The view of the city from the rampart walls is breath taking.
1500hrs Visit the sprawling spice market under the Fort near the clock tower.
Walk along the market to feel the odours of the spices filling the air around
you.

Day 10 20th Mar Jodhpur - Luni
0900hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0930hrs Departure by Jeep to Bishnoi villages and also witness the opium ceremony
in the village with the Patels - a rich tribe. It is a ceremony prevelant
in this part of Rajasthan where the youth offers opium to drink mixed with water
to the elders of the family when they come back from work in the fields.
1230hrs Check into hotel and relax. Afternoon and evening is at leisure.

Day 11 21st Mar Luni - Udaipur
0800hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0830hrs Departure for Ranakpur.
Ranakpur a very big pilgrimage centre for the Jains. Just four hours drive from
Udaipur is the eternal Jain pilgrimage centre of Ranakpur. Admire the workmanship
from the 16th century. The temples are built out of marble and the main shrine
of Adinath with 1444 columns is awe inspiring and none of these are similar.
Also see the sun temple and the other temples in the campus.
1530hrs Proceed towards Udaipur and on the way stop by the fields to see the
local way of farming and irrigation. Walk into the villages to mingle with the
locals around to know more about their lifestyle.

Reach Udaipur by late afternoon and check into your hotel.

Day 12 22nd Mar Udaipur
0900hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0930hrs Departure for sightseeing of Udaipur.
Visit the City Palace the richest palace museum in the entire Rajasthan. See
the Peacock Square and the miniature painting school inside the palace premises.
Udaipur has the prestige of housing the best miniature schools in the country
under the royal patronage of the king of Udaipur. Later, see gardens at the
Sahelion ki Bari: Maharana Sangram Singh build this garden complex with fountains
and lakes for his beautiful daughter.
Today shop for good quality miniature paintings at Rajasthan art school with
in the City Palace premises.
1700hrs We take a lake cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichhola by sunset
and visit the island palace Jagmandir where according to legends the Mughal
Emperor Shah Jehan lived and got inspired to build the Taj mahal later.

Day 13 23rd Mar Udaipur - Delhi - Varanasi (flight)
0530hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0600hrs Departure to Airport and checkin.
0740hrs Flight takes off from Udaipur.
0945hrs Flight Lands at Delhi. Collect your baggages and proceed towards the
departure Lounge with our representative to catch your flight to Varanasi.
1115hrs Checkin
1245hrs Flight takes off from Delhi Airport. Lunch on board.
1525hrs Reach Varanasi and check into your hotel.

Day 14 24th Mar Varanasi
0500hrs Early in the morning we take you to banks of the river Ganges where
we board a boat to see the morning ablutions of the Hindus from the security
of our boat. The boat ride starts from Dasashwamedh Ghat and ends at Manikarnika
Ghat along the sacred Ganges. Dont forget to see the sun rise along
the Ganges. See the Kashi Vishwanath temple and the Gyanvyapi kund and the
mosque attached to it. Also worth a visit is the Bharat Mata Mandir (Mother
India temple) where you see the undivided India - Mahatma Gandhis
Dream.
0900hrs Breakfast at hotel.
1400hrs Visit Sarnath - the sacred Buddhist city where Gautama Buddha preached
his first sermon to his 5 disciples under the bodhi tree. Visit the site and
the temple attached to it. See the frescoes related to the life of Buddha inside
the temple. Also visit the archaeological museum that houses artifacts from
the 3rd century BC. Most interesting is the lion capital of Ashoka Maurya from
272 BC. Adjacent to the museum is the ancient seat of learning from the 2nd
century BC now completely in ruins. Also see the Dhamek stupa and the Dharmarajika
Stupa where hundreds of Buddhist pilgrims offer their prayers.

Day 15 25th Mar Varanasi

Day 16 26th Mar Varanasi - Khajuraho (flight)
0900hrs Breakfast at hotel.
1000hrs Departure for Airport.
1100hrs checkin.
1220hrs Flight takes off for Khajuraho.
1300hrs Flight Lands in Khajuraho. Transfer to hotel.
1530hrs Departure for sightseeing of Khajuraho.
Visit the temples built during the 9th to the 11th centuries by the powerful
dynasty of Chandela rajputs. The temples with their erotic sculptures are a
feast to the eyes. The Chandelas built 85 temples in all but today only 20 temples
stand intact. Visit the Kandariya Maheshwar temple and visit the eastern and
western group of temples.

Day 17 27th Mar Khajuraho - Orchha - Jhansi - Agra
0700hrs Breakfast at hotel.
1000hrs Leave Khajuraho by road and carry on towards Orchha. Visit Orchha with
its imposing Jehangiri Mehal and the cenotaphs of the Bundela Rajput warriors.
Orchcha a medieval village where time has stopped. You feel the timelessness
of this spot. Orchha is a medieval city founded by Bundela rulers with palaces
and temples of the 16th and 17th century - which have remarkably withstood
the onslaught of time. The river Betwa picturesquely flanks the city. See the
beautiful Palace Complex - Jahangiri Mahal and the Raja Mahal. Closely
study the intricacies of the mural paintings in the Raja Mahal.
1630hrs Leave for Jhansi.
1745hrs Catch the train for Agra.
2000hrs Reach Agra and check into your hotel.

Day 18 28th Mar Agra
0530hrs Taj Mahal is awaiting your arrival today morning. A must see with the
rising sun as the Taj Mahal is bathed in the golden rays of the morning sun.
Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial that houses the tomb
of his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed
and was designed, and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its
stunning design, balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly
for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay
work ever seen anywhere in the world. In the afternoon visit the temple at Swami
bagh that is being constructed for the past 75 years and it is no where near
completion.

1000hrs Visit Agra Fort built by Akbar that houses many fabulous palaces built
in Indo Islamic style. See the marble palace of Shahjehan that was built with
the remaining and rejected stones from the Taj Mahal - Mussamman Burj.

Day 19 29th Mar Agra Delhi

0930hrs Departure for Delhi via a photo stop at Sikandra

1230hrs Continue your journey towards Delhi.
1830hrs Reach Garam Masala Restaurant in Delhi for the farewell dinner.
2100hrs Transfer to airport and checkin for your international flight.
